In 2002, Baylor implemented Baylor 2012, an exciting, bold, forward-thinking strategic mission to propel Baylor to a unique leadership position in higher education by adding new faculty, facilities, and programs. Because of this focused effort, student enrollment has substantially increased. As part of the mission, many existing facilities on campus have been renovated and new facilities have been added. Walker Partners began our relationship with Baylor and successfully completed our first project in 2009. Since then, Baylor has trusted and relied on us to fulfill all of their surveying and civil site design needs.
Walker Partners has worked hand-in-hand with Baylor, architectural firms, design professionals, subconsultants, construction managers, and general contractors to help Baylor successfully achieve Baylor 2012. Since 2009, we have performed the surveying and civil site design, assisted in the bidding process, and performed construction administration and construction staking as needed on over 20 building renovations or additions on campus, including the new McLane Football Stadium and Hart Track & Field Complex. We have also completed over 50 surveying projects that included one, several, or all of the following: boundary, topographic, platting, zoning, easement preparation or abandonment.
Driving around Baylor campus today is a stunning improvement from 10 short years ago! Walker Partners values our relationship with Baylor and we look forward to many, many more successful projects to help Baylor achieve their current Pro Futura vision!
