We are searching for a CAD Technician/Designer who is proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D to work in our Austin office. You will work alongside our water and wastewater resources team on a variety of infrastructure projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
» Prepare drawings and details for a variety of projects:
• Water treatments plants
• Wastewater treatment plants
• Pump stations
• Storage tanks
» Work under the guidance of Design Engineer or Lead CAD Designer
» Coordinate with other CAD technicians on the team
» Review record drawings and incorporate into plans
» Complete redlines for modifications of plans and details
» Adhere to CAD standards
» Possess strong organizational skills
» High School diploma or equivalent.
» 5 years AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
» Experience in civil drafting
» Proficient in Microsoft office
» Associate’s degree with courses in drafting, math and science.
» Experience with ArcGIS based platforms
» Autodesk Certification
During the interview process, you may be required to participate in a short and facilitated AutoCAD skills assessment.
